This site is on a serious and important topic. There is a click agreement in the upper left of the screen. This agreement sets an understanding with the reader that facilitates us in speaking frankly on the site. Please read it.
A number of links on this site point into the book which is in pdf format. A pdf reader that supports bookmarks is needed to be able to properly follow these links. If your pdf reader does not support bookmarks, then you will land at the top of the book chapters rather than at the link targets.
Adobe Reader and Acrobat support bookmarks.
Firefox now comes with a built in reader that is only partionally functional, to change to the adobe reader go to edit->preferences->applications. Then type pdf in the search box. Choose the action 'use Adobe reader' or Acrobat.
On the left side is a navigation panel for the site. The first entry is "Home Page". Any page on this site can be found through those menus.
Some documents are shown verbatim and render without the panel. You can get back to the main site by hitting the back button or by going to the site URL. If you need to go back to a main page often consider bookmarking it.
